Xpressbet Names $50k Preakness Bet Winner

Online wagering provider Xpressbet is excited to announce the winner of its $50K Preakness Big Bet Sweepstakes – Timothy Lanning of Palm Coast, Florida.  As the winner of the Sweepstakes, Lanning receives a trip for two to this year’s Preakness Stakes to make a $50,000 Win wager on a horse of his choosing in the Preakness.

Lanning’s VIP trip includes premium accommodations at Pimlico on Black-Eyed Susan Day and Preakness Day, as well as roundtrip airfare to Baltimore and hotel accommodations for 3 nights.  A longtime racing fan and avid handicapper, Lanning previously lived down the street from Belmont Park, but has not been to a racetrack since moving to Florida 7 years ago.  He looks forward to once again attending a day at the races, especially on a day as significant as Preakness Stakes Day.

Lanning is Xpressbet’s third ‘Big Bet’ winner of the year, preceded by $10K Big Bet winners Tom Guadagno and Scott Shore.  Guadagno and Shore were each winners of a $10,000 Win bet on a key Triple Crown prep at a Stronach Group racetrack – Guadagno made his bet on the Florida Derby, while Shore’s was on the Santa Anita Derby.  Both Big Bets were successful, as Guadagno put his $10,000 bet on Constitution at Gulfstream Park, netting him a $43,000 return, while Shore made his bet on California Chrome at Santa Anita, resulting in a $17,000 payday.
