Works report: Speaking Scout tunes up for Keeneland
Speaking Scout, who is probable for the Grade 1 Maker's Mark Mile on Friday, worked Monday morning at Keeneland. The 4-year-old Mr Speaker gelding went four furlongs in 49.20 seconds over the dirt, second-fastest of 15 at the distance. Last year the Graham Motion trainee won the Hollywood Derby (G1), and he most recently finished third in the Pegasus World Cup Turf (G1).
