Works report: Millionaire Mr. Wireless leads 13 graded winners

Mr. Wireless, a two-time graded-stakes winner, worked Monday for the first time since an optional-claiming allowance victory at Fair Grounds on March 14. The 6-year-old son of Dialed In covered four furlongs at Churchill Downs in 50.2 seconds.

Though his two graded wins came in 2021 in the West Virginia Derby (G3) and Indiana Derby (G3), Mr. Wireless has been a dependable older horse for trainer Bret Calhoun. He won twice as a 4-year-old in 2022, and though he went winless in four starts at age 5, he hit the board in all of those outings, including a trio of graded races at Fair Grounds. His recent victory at Fair Grounds, which came in his first start in 10 months, brought his career earnings over the million-dollar mark.
