Chez Pierre, who beat prominent international turf horse Modern Games in the Grade 1 Maker's Mark Mile at Keeneland, worked Saturday morning over the Tapeta training surface at Fair Hill. The Arnaud Delacour trainee worked four furlongs in 49.0 seconds.

It was the five-year-old Mehmas gelding's third four-furlong drill since his victory last month. Modern Games franked Chez Pierre's form Saturday morning when he won the Group 1 Lockinge at Newbury.
