Works report: Exaulted, Faiza lead 14 Monday-morning drills
Exaulted, who is perfect in four starts this year including a win in the Grade 1 Shoemaker Mile on May 29, worked Monday morning. The four-furlong move over the Del Mar dirt was his third since the Shoemaker Mile, and it took him 48.4 seconds. The drill was the Peter Eurton trainee's longest since he returned to work.
Faiza also appeared on Monday's Del Mar work tab, going five furlongs on dirt in 59.6 seconds. The Bob Baffert charge has not raced since finishing third in the Black-Eyed Susan (G2) on May 19, the first defeat in her six-race career.
