Workouts: War Like Goddess is 1 of 48 graded winners on tab

War Like Goddess, the three-time Grade 1 winner whose long-range goal is a fourth trip to the Breeders’ Cup, worked Sunday morning at Saratoga.

The 7-year-old mare went a half-mile in 50.58 seconds on the Oklahoma dirt training track. It was her fourth workout since she won the Robert G. Dick Memorial at Delaware Park on July 7.

Trainer Bill Mott will run War Like Goddess in the Flower Bowl (G2) on Saturday at Saratoga. The daughter of English Channel who is owned by George Krikorian won the 2021 running of the 1 3/8-mile turf race the last year it was a Grade 1.
