Workouts: Turf standout Far Bridge is 1 of 46 graded winners
With a stated goal of racing in some of New York’s most prestigious route races on the turf this year, three-time Grade 1 winner Far Bridge was back on the work tab Saturday morning in Florida, where he is expected to make his comeback in two weeks.
The 5-year-old English Channel horse owned by Randy and Larry Sarf’s LSU Stables and trained by Christophe Clément breezed five furlongs in 1:02.2 on the Payson Park turf. It was his seventh consecutive weekly drill since he came back from a three-month break.
