Workouts: Travers candidate Muth is 1 of 48 graded winners

With the Grade 1 Travers Stakes looming as a possible point of return from the spring fever that took him out of the Preakness, Muth worked a bullet six furlongs Sunday morning at Del Mar.

Owned by Zedan Racing Stables, the 3-year-old Good Magic colt had a time of 1:12.0 going the three-quarters of a mile on the fast main track. It was the fastest of four timed works over the course and distance.

There were 48 graded-stakes winners who appeared on the U.S. work tab Sunday.
