Workouts: Taxed fires bullet; 5 graded-stakes winners breeze
With a top-level race at Saratoga being her next target, Grade 2 Black-Eyed Susan winner Taxed was clocked at 59.6 seconds Friday breezing five furlongs at Churchill Downs.
The 3-year-old Collected filly had the fastest workout among the seven horses going the same distance on a smoky, hazy morning in Kentucky.

Based on what he said after last month's victory at Pimlico, trainer Randy Morse could be looking at the 1 1/8-mile Coaching Club American Oaks on July 22 or the 1 1/4-mile Alabama on Aug. 19 as the next race for Taxed. Both are Grade 1s.
