Back on the track for the first time since the Breeders’ Cup, Gina Romantica had a short breeze Saturday.
The two-time Grade 1 winner owned by Peter Brant and trained by Chad Brown worked three furlongs in 38.2 seconds at Payson Park in Florida. It was the first workout for the daughter of Into Mischief since she finished fourth in the Breeders’ Cup Mile.
