With the Grade 1 Personal Ensign on her calendar in exactly three weeks, Eclipse Award winner Idiomatic had her first breeze since her narrow victory last month at Monmouth Park.
The 5-year-old daughter of Curlin worked a half-mile on Saratoga’s Oklahoma training track in 49.77 seconds Friday, according to New York Racing Association clockers. It was the 20th fastest of 46 works over the course and distance.

Trained by Brad Cox, Idiomatic held off Soul of an Angel by a head July 20 in the Molly Pitcher (G3) to bring her record to 15: 11-2-2 and her earnings for breeder-owner Juddmonte to $3,476,840.
