In her first breeze since she won the Grade 1 Jaipur Stakes last month, Caravel worked a half-mile in 50.0 seconds Saturday morning on the fast main track at Churchill Downs.

Trained by Brad Cox, the 6-year-old Mizzen Mast mare who won the 2022 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint is being aimed for a next start in the Caress (G3) at Saratoga in two weeks.
