The earlier start time is to accommodate a 10-race card after Thursday's program was canceled following one race.

Thursday’s card will start the final week of live racing for the 2025 season. That week of racing will continue with first post on Friday also at 4:30 p.m. EST, then Saturday and Sunday cards starting at 1:05 p.m. EST.

The Thursday card features a US$83,272 maiden special weight sprint at six furlongs on the Tapeta, which drew a field of eight horses aged three and up. Leading contenders include Michael De Paulo trainee Cajun Influence, who has finished third in both career starts and should show speed from the rail as well as Lover Boy Mo, a Sylvester Ollivierre charge who has raced seven times but done his best work so far over extended-sprint trips like this one.
