Royal Ascot's back on the radar for Tepin winner Sharing

Coming off her win in Saturday’s $100,000 Tepin Stakes at Churchill Downs, Sharing has multiple next race options, including a prestigious overseas spot.

Trainer Graham Motion said the winner of last year’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf could also remain in the U.S. for the June 20 Wonder Again (G3), a one-mile event for 3-year-old fillies on the Belmont Stakes undercard.

“We’re going to look at that," he said. "We’re going to look into the implications or the complications of getting her to Ascot, which is something we’ve thought about all along.

"I have no idea if it’s going to be feasible or not. Those would certainly be possibilities.”

At Royal Ascot, the daughter of Speightstown, campaigned by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Gainesway Stable, would likely appear in the Coronation Stakes (G1) on June 20.

Racing has been halted in England throughout the COVID-19 pandemic but is scheduled to resume in June. The Royal Ascot meeting will run behind closed doors for the first time, with other Americans likely to compete the Wesley Ward-trained duo of Bound for Nowhere and Kimari.

The Maryland-bred Sharing, who's out of Motion's Breeders' Cup winner Shared Account, exited her victory in fine shape.

“She’ll come back to Fair Hill tomorrow,” Motion said, referring to the Maryland training center. “She seemed good this morning. We’re excited about it. It’s great to have her back -- great to be racing.”
