Shackleford tries to end a 2-race losing streak in Saturday's Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile at Santa Anita Park.

2011 Preakness hero Shackleford was on fire this sping with wins in the G2 Churchill Downs Handicap and G1 Met Mile. The Saratoga mud stopped him cold in his tracks on August 5 and he exits a place finish behind today's rival Jersey Town in the G2 Kelso Handicap at Belmont Park. Ramon Dominguez rides the 2-1 morning line favorite.

Emcee romped in the G1 Forego at seven furlongs last time and will take plenty of wagering action for Kiaran McLaughlin. This is his first start around two turns.

Lightly raced 3-year-old Fed Biz is 3-for-3 at one mile and 2-for-2 at Santa Anita Park. Rafael Bejarano sticks with the Bob Baffert trainee.

Rail Trip, Delegation, John Scott, Tapizar, and Second City round out the field.
