Wide Open Del Mar 'Cap Lures Ten

Four graduates of Hollywood Park's 1 1/2-mile Sunset Handicap are set to tackle the 71st running of the Del Mar Handicap at 1 3/8 miles on the Jimmy Durante Turf Course Sunday.

 

Riding in from the Sunset will be runner-up Champ Pegasus; third-place finisher Unusual Suspect; Dynamic Range, fourth, and Buenos Dias, fifth. Unusual Suspect, who finished second in Del Mar's Cougar II Handicap in his last start, is entered in Saturday's Pacific Classic -- Presented by TVG and trainer Barry Abrams will make a decision in the next day or so.
