White Abarrio and Locked remain in the top 12 of the world's best racehorse rankings, the only U.S.-based horses in the latest edition of the standings.

White Abarrio, tied for no. 4 and reunited with trainer Saffie Joseph Jr., is 2-for-2 this year after victories in the Grade 1 Pegasus World Cup and the Ghostzapper (G3).

Locked, tied for no. 6, returned from a long layoff with three wins and two seconds from five starts for trainer Todd Pletcher, including a Santa Anita Handicap (G1) score last out.

Japan-based Forever Young remains in the top spot. He's 1-for-2 this year, winning the Saudi Cup (G1) before finishing third in the Dubai World Cup (G1) on Saturday.

The rankings are compiled by the world’s best racehorse rankings committee and published by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities.
