Which Kentucky Derby 2018 horses are taking most bets?

While Justify is a 2-1 favorite for the 2018 Kentucky Derby at the William Hill US racebook, he hasn't taken most money in the lead up to Saturday's race. That designation belongs to Bolt d'Oro, who was long the favorite until defeated by Justify last out in the Santa Anita Derby.

Here's a look as of Monday evening at which Derby contenders have had most bet on them:

William Hill also provided an updated look at number of tickets on which a horse appears, not necessarily for how much those players bet. Again, Bolt d'Oro's popular, but not the leader in this category by as wide of a margin. Good Magic, who defeated him in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, is second, just ahead of Justify.

The Las Vegas odds will become less of an indicator of Derby favorites after Tuesday's post position draw, which will include a morning line from longtime Churchill Downs odds maker Mike Battaglia. The pari-mutuel wagering pools open Friday morning following the Derby scratch deadline.
