What a Party Wins Monmouth Turf Feature

Bridle Path Racing Stable’s What a Party took command right from the start and led her seven foes all the way to a half-length score in the $37,800 allowance/optional claiming feature at Monmouth Park on Friday afternoon.

Trained by Eddie Plesa Jr. and ridden by Paco Lopez, What a Party stopped the timer in :55 3/5 for five furlongs over firm turf, paying $7, $3.40 and $2.80.  Trish’s Wish chased the winner the whole way, completing the $32.80 exacta and paying $4.20 and $3.40.  It was another ¾ of a length back to Previous Honor, who paid $6 to show.

A 5-year-old mare by Congrats from the Citidancer mare Christmas Lights, What a Party has won four of her 14 lifetime starts.
