What a Party Wins Monmouth Feature

Bridle Path Racing Stable Inc.’s took the lead right from the start and never looked back, winning the $38,000 allowance/optional claiming feature by 3 ½ lengths at Monmouth Park on Sunday.


Trained by Eddie Plesa Jr. and ridden by Chris DeCarlo, What a Party stepped the five furlongs over a firm turf course in :55 1/5 and returned $18, $10.40 and $4.60.  Zulbaby completed the $127.20 exacta and paid $9.40 and $4.60.  It was another length back to Krusin Kelly, who paid $2.60 to show.


A 4-year filly by Congrats from the Citidancer mare Christmas Lights, What a Party has won two of her eight career starts.


Live racing continues at Monmouth on Saturday, Oct. 5 – gates open 11:30 a.m., with new first race post set at 12:45 p.m.  As always the racetrack is open seven days a week for simulcasting from across the country and around the globe.
