Wednesday works: 8 graded-stakes winners are on the tab

Seven-year-old Get Her Number, unraced since 2023, worked Wednesday ahead of an expected start in Saturday's Eclipse Overnight Stakes at Oaklawn.

The Dialed In gelding trained by Peter Miller went five furlongs in 1:00.6, second fastest of seven at the distance.

In his most recent start, Get Her Number was 10th in the Grade 3 Mint Millions at Kentucky Downs on Sept. 2, 2023. He was 0-for-6 that year, with all his starts in graded stakes. Get Her Number's lone graded win came in the American Pharoah (G1) when he was 2.

Also, one Kentucky Derby hopeful worked Tuesday. Surfside Moon breezed four furlongs in 48.4 seconds at Fair Hill. It was the fourth fastest of eight works at the distance. His previous work was eight days ago going three furlongs at Fair Hill. In his last start, the Malibu Moon colt placed second in the Withers going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Aqueduct on Feb. 1 for trainer James L. Lawrence II.
