Let’s take a look at some key heats on the all-dirt, 10-race Wednesday program at Parx.

Best bet: All Eyes On You (race 7)

Best value bet: Miss Peppina (race 6)

Race 1

No. 5 Amigos Guitar (9-5, morning-line favorite) dusted a similar group here earlier in the year before flopping in consecutive state-bred allowance tries. The class drop should get him back into form. No. 4 Hope for Gold (7-2) in the logical alternative on speed figures, but three straight second-place finishes (including a blown three-length lead in his last) don’t inspire much confidence for win bettors. No. 1 Mr. Briggs (5-1) won his most recent try over this course and distance, consider.

How I’d bet it (based on a $100 budget): $10 exacta 5/1,4

Race 5

No. 3 Last Dream (7-2) looks dangerous shipping in from Gulfstream off back-to-back in-the-money efforts vs. similar company. Shortening to six furlongs and getting pace to run into should only help. No. 2 Stouthearted (3-1, morning-line favorite) likely will need to survive early challenges from No. 4 Sharp Sensation and No. 5 Almond Cider in addition to a late bid from the top pick, a tall order. Nonetheless, he’s the logical alternative on speed figures. No. 6 The Boatman (5-1) could produce a sharper closing kick with the cutback in distance.

How I’d bet it: $10 exacta 3/2, $4 exacta 3/6, $4 exacta 2/3, $2 exacta 2/6

Race 6

No. 6 Miss Peppina (7-2) moved up significantly in the speed-figure department off the claim by Michael Moore (29 percent) last time out. Paco Lopez (34 percent) saw fit to climb aboard in that April 24 victory and will have the assignment once more. No. 2 American Pyramid (9-2) lures Frankie Pennington (27 percent) in her first career start for a tag. She had won three straight before running off the board vs. tougher in each of her last two starts. No. 5 Bucks Some (4-1) is hard to leave out of the equation with four straight in-the-money efforts at this level.

How I’d bet it: $10 exacta 6/2, $6 exacta 2/6, $2 exacta 2,6/5

Race 7

No. 2 All Eyes On You (7-2) attracts Lopez off a solid runner-up effort in a similar spot behind a winner who came back to run a bang-up second in Saturday’s Long Branch Stakes at Monmouth. Lone knock is the 1-for-9 record, but he has only one lifetime try going a route of ground. No. 6 Fletcher (5-1) was overmatched in the Federico Tesio Stakes last time out but hit the exacta in three straight races prior to that. No. 5 Praetorian Guard (3-1) runs competitive enough speed figures on a regular basis to merit throwing in underneath.

How I’d bet it: $15 exacta 2/6, $5 exacta 2/5

Race 10

No. 1 Irish Honor (4-1) runs second off the claim back by Joseph Taylor and lures Kendrick Carmouche, speed figures are good enough. No. 8 Exit Right (2-1, morning-line favorite) boasts a 23: 11-5-4 record over this course. Excuse his last, a try against tougher going longer on a wet track at Aqueduct. No. 7 Good Culture steps up off a rare win; note the 11 places in 27 lifetime starts.

How I’d bet it: $7 exacta box 1/8, $3 exacta 1,8/7
