Ewing, who's 2-for-2 after winning the Grade 2 Saratoga Special last month, worked at Churchill Downs on Wednesday for trainer Mark Casse.

The 2-year-old Knicks Go colt breezed five furlongs in 59.0 seconds, fastest of six at the distance.

Purchased in April by D.J. Stable & West Point Thoroughbreds for $585,000 and now co-owned by Kenneth Freirich, Ewing won his July 5 debut at Saratoga by 12 lengths after leading at every call. He led at every call in the Saratoga Special as well, winning by a length over odds-on favorite Obliteration.

He's expected to make his next start in the Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland on Oct. 4.
