Arthur's Ride, unraced since finishing 12th in the Breeders' Cup Classic, is back at work for trainer Bill Mott.
The 5-year-old son of Tapit breezed four furlongs at Saratoga in 49.63 seconds, eighth fastest of 23 at the distance.
Arthur's Ride, winner of the Grade 1 Whitney last year, returned to the tab April 25 at Payson Park. After two works there, he began training at Saratoga.
