In a story that began last May, the afternoon Maximum Security was disqualified from his victory in the Kentucky Derby, World Horse Racing has released a mini-documentary titled, "Redemption in Riyadh."

That, of course, is the city in which the $20 million Saudi Cup ran on Feb. 29, when Maximum Security lived up to his favoritism in his first start since being crowned the champion 3-year-old.

"He's such a great horse," Bob Baffert says in the film.

“He’s the best horse in the world," added Steve Asmussen, who sent out runner-up Midnight Bisou, "and he proved it by a half a length right now. This is the stage. This is where we want to be.”

World Horse Racing, a relatively knew international social media platform, received plenty of behind-the-scenes access with Maximum Security trainer Jason Servis and his son, Garrett, in the days leading up to the Saudi Cup.

Looking back to the Derby, Garrett, an assistant trainer for his father, said “It might not have been the best outcome for us, but he might not have been here if he wouldn’t have got that inquiry. Things happen for a reason.”
