The Saturday card at Belmont at the Big A features the Grade 1 Woodward and the return of Life Is Good. Handicapper Sara Elbadwi is joined by New York Racing Association analyst and Fox Sports host Andy Serling to cover four graded stakes.

With rain in the forecast for October 1, there is the potential that certain turf races are in jeopardy of being switched to the main track. Hopefully that will not be the case for the Miss Grillo (G2), a Breeders' Cup "win and you're in" for the Juvenile Fillies Turf, and the Belmont Turf Sprint Invitational (G3).

Although both the Woodward and Miss Grillo have logical favorites, the Belmont Turf Sprint appears to be a much more wide open betting race. Within this full field of 12, a case can be made for many contenders. This is likely the best wagering opportunity of the four races.

The final race discussed, the Champagne (G1) for 2-year-old males, is also a Breeders' Cup "win and you're in" event for the Juvenile. Both Serling and Elbadwi are against the morning line favorite and agree on their top pick.
