Virginia Derby attracts 10

Nicanor, the full brother to 2006 Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Barbaro, is one of ten three-year-olds entered in the $750,000 Virginia Derby (G2) at Colonial Downs on Saturday.

Bred and owned by Lael Stables, Nicanor enters the 1 1/4-mile turf stake undefeated in two starts on the grass, including a 15 1/4-length maiden victory at on May 13 at Delaware Park.
