Video: Analysis and picks for the Preakness Pick 5

Handicapper Sara Elbadwi is joined by Matthew DeSantis as they analyze the all-stakes late Pick 5 on Preakness Day. The undercard at Pimlico features competitive fields, long-shot opportunities, and potential singles within the sequence as well.

Races 9 through 13 encompass the multi-race sequence set to begin at 3:31 p.m. EDT. Many feature 3-year-olds who previously had competed on the Road to the Kentucky Derby and now are cutting back in distance or getting class relief. In race 12, the Jim McKay Turf Sprint Stakes, No. 2 Carotari (9-5 on the morning line) makes his 2022 debut. He is the course record holder for 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf at Saratoga.
