Video: Play this long shot Saturday at Aqueduct

With Pick 6 and late Pick 5 carryovers going in to Friday's card at Aqueduct, it's safe to say that long shots have been outrunning the odds. Hoping that trend continues, handicapper Sara Elbadwi offers two prices worth playing in New York this weekend.

The weekend starts early with a Friday play in the ninth race. The favorites are tough to trust and could be vulnerable, as one of them is returning off a considerable layoff. Of a few contenders that have faced each other before, Elbadwi highlights one that has some early speed and was able to stick around in her last race while other pace presences faded. 

Saturday's Gio Ponti Stakes features two short-priced contenders for trainer Todd Pletcher. Elbadwi highlights a horse that is 15-1 morning line to use in an exacta with the favorite. This is a horse that has run second behind a favorite twice recently at big prices, creating some decent exacta payouts.
