New fans and horseplayers can be hard to come by, but one individual has already learned more in a few years than some have in their lifetimes. Keith Bush became a student of the sport recently and has developed an interesting approach to the races. He's blending his own insight with computer data, and learning more about how other handicappers analyze the races as well.

Here, he and Sara Elbadwi dive in to his background in racing. Bush shares how his process works and what he looks for from the data available to him. He also discusses a project of his where he tracks public selections from various online and on-air analysts and compares how they're doing.

They look at the late Pick 3 on Wednesday at Keeneland and both agree on the same horse in the final race on the card.
