With trainer Todd Pletcher winning both final preps for this year's Breeders' Cup Distaff, he'll send out the likely favorite the first weekend in November. The question is, will that be Malathaat or Nest?

Handicappers Ed DeRosa and Sara Elbadwi weigh in on which of these fillies has a better chance to win, as well as who else might complete the field. DeRosa shares an intriguing stat about age in this race that you won't want to miss.

Other potential contenders include Clairiere and Search Results, as well as possible West Coast invaders. There could also be international influence, as we saw last year in 2021 when Marche Lorraine upset the Distaff over Dunbar Road.
