Trainer Bob Baffert admitted to the stress of 2018 Kentucky Derby week, but subdued and smiling Sunday morning, he said he was happy to be surrounded by reporters. That's a sure sign of a winner, which Baffert got in Justify.

Next up: the Preakness Stakes on May 19, with Justify confirmed to run at Pimlico.

“One race at a time,” Baffert said when asked about a potential Triple Crown. “Hopefully he does well. He needs to have a good week — be good next week.

"...He won the toughest one, the Kentucky Derby. To me, it's the toughest one, the most important one. The Preakness, and then after that, we'll see. If I like the way he comes out of that, we'll take a shot at the Belmont. But we're taking it one race at a time."
