Veteran Stallion Siberian Summer Dies

California stallion Siberian Summer was euthanized July 30 because of intestinal complications following surgery. The 22-year-old son of Siberian Express stood at Ellen Jackson’s Victory Rose Thoroughbreds near Vacaville, Calif.


Siberian Summer, who had stood at several other farms before being relocated to Victory Rose for the 2007 breeding season, has sired 13 stakes winners and the earners of more than $11.7 million.
