Vekoma, Tax highlight Thursday's graded stakes works
Vekoma worked an easy four-furlongs at Saratoga on Thursday morning for trainer George Weaver. The Met Mile winner will likely be favored if he opts to run in the Breeders' Cup Sprint following Volatile's retirement. 2019 Jim Dandy winner Tax worked a bullet four-furlongs at Saratoga as he nears a return following a short layoff for trainer Danny Gargan. On Wednesday, Grade 1 winner No Parole also took a five-furlong spin.
