Grade 1 Florida Derby winner Commandment settled as the narrow favorite Saturday afternoon for Kentucky Derby 2026.

At about 6 p.m. EDT on Saturday, with $46,102,604 in the win pool, Commandment was the narrow 5-1 favorite off of 6-1 morning-line odds.

Fair odds: Kentucky Derby has a new value play after scratch

Arkansas Derby (G1) winner Renegade, the 4-1 morning-line favorite and the betting favorite through Friday's and early Saturday's action, was next, also at 5-1.

Santa Anita Derby (G1) winner So Happy, Blue Grass (G1) winner Further Ado and Florida Derby (G1) third-place finisher Chief Wallabee all were-1.

The longest shots in the field were Ocelli and Robusta, both at 75-2 at 76-1.

Four horses were scratched out of the main field of the Kentucky Derby. Silent Tactic was scratched Wednesday, Fulleffort was scratched Thursday and Right to Party was taken out Friday morning. That opened up spots in the main field for Great White, Ocelli and Robusta. The Puma scratched Saturday morning, but because that happened after Friday's scratch deadline, Corona de Oro did not draw in off of the also-eligible list.

Post time for the 152nd Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs is 6:57 p.m. EDT on Saturday.
