Updated: Free Pegasus World Cup 2019 past performances

The Pegasus World Cup Invitational Series is set for Saturday, with a full field of 12 entered to run on the dirt and 10 contenders going a race before that in the inaugural turf division.

Yoshida measures up as the one to beat in the Grade 1, $7 million Pegasus World Cup Turf. Carded as Race 11 at Gulfstream Park and with a post time of 4:57 p.m. ET, the race also features overseas invaders Aerolithe from Japan and Ireland-based Magic Wand.

Leading the way in the Grade 1, $9 million Pegasus World Cup on dirt are Breeders' Cup winners Accelerate and City of Light. Post time is 5:36 p.m. ET for the last of 12 races Saturday at Gulfstream, where in to challenge is Breeders' Cup Classic runner-up Gunnevera.
