Untapable has won the 2014 Kentucky Oaks! Piloted by Rosie Napravnik, Untapable races for Winchell Thoroughbreds and is trained by Steve Asmussen.
My Miss Sophia was 2nd under jockey Javier Castellano for trainer Todd Pletcher, and Unbridled Forever ran third with jockey Robby Albarado for Dallas Stewart.
Untapable paid $4 to win.
This was Rosie Napranvik's second win in the Kentucky Oaks, after her first win in 2012 on Believe You Can. Napravnik is the only female jockey to win the Kentucky Oaks.
Untapable is also the second Oaks winner for Asmussen, who conditioned Summerly to victory in 2005, also for owners Winchell Thoroughbreds.
More to come on this historic Oak victory!
