Two Riders Injured in Penn National Spill

Two jockeys were transported to the hospital after a three-horse spill the evening of Dec. 13 at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course.

Ryan's Gold, owned and trained by Jim Tracy, was making a move near the eighth-pole in the five-furlong claiming race when he broke down. Zen's Village and Dorothy's Diamond then fell over the fallen horse.

Penn National officials said Angel Quinones, who rode Ryan's Gold, and Angel Rodriguez, who rode Dorothy's Diamond, were taken to Hershey Medical Center for examination of possible injuries.
