Two-Day Pick 6 Carryover at Santa Anita Park

With longshots proving to be the order of the day, there is a two-day Pick Six carryover of $170,368 into Sunday at Santa Anita.  With first post time set for 1 p.m. the Pick Six will cover races four through nine and it’s expected the total Pick Six pool will exceed $500,000.
Although there was no carryover, the paucity of Saturday “chalk” resulted in one winning 50 cent Pick 5 ticket Saturday.  Purchased for just $144.00 at Golden Gate Fields, it paid a whopping $402,424.55.
With the Grade III, $100,000 LA Woman Stakes carded as Sunday’s third race, the $100,000 California Distaff Handicap, for fillies and mares bred or sired in California at 6 ½ furlongs down the hillside turf course, figures to highlight Sunday’s Pick Six as race eight on the nine-race program.
