Twinspires.com Wagering Site Hacked

Churchill Downs Incorporated says their online wagering site, Twinspires.com was recently the victim of a cyber-attack that exposed some personal information of about 20 percent of their customers.

According to Churchill Downs security experts, there is no evidence any usernames, passwords, credit card or bank account information was accessed.  Hackers were only able to access names, date of birth, email addresses and completely encrypted social security numbers.

Representatives from Churchill Downs would not disclose how many customers they have or exactly how many were affected, but they say it's less than 20 percent of their customers.
