Twinspires.com Named Official Wagering Partner of Breeders' Cup

Breeders’ Cup Ltd. and TwinSpires.com announced today a multi-year agreement making TwinSpires, one of the leading online and mobile betting platforms, the official wagering partner of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships and the title sponsor of the $1.5 million TwinSpires Breeders’ Cup Sprint.
The Breeders’ Cup World Championships, Thoroughbred racing’s most prestigious international event, consists of 13 Grade 1 races and awards purses totaling $26-million. The 32nd Breeders’ Cup will take place on October 30-31 for the first time at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky., and will be televised on NBC and NBCSN.

As the official Breeders’ Cup Betting partner, TwinSpires will receive exposure through a comprehensive package of television, digital, and print media benefits, including commercial time on NBC and NBCSN telecasts of Breeders’ Cup Challenge series races and during the Breeders’ Cup World Championships telecasts. Additionally, TwinSpires will be the presenting partner of the Morning Line at the Breeders’ Cup Post-Position Draw presented by Rood & Riddle of the 13 Breeders’ Cup races onOctober 26 at Keeneland.
The TwinSpires Breeders’ Cup Sprint, a grade 1 race for 3-year-olds and older, and contested on the main track at three-quarters-of-a-mile, will be run on Saturday, October 31. Since its inception in 1984, 18 Breeders’ Cup Sprint winners have been voted Thoroughbred racing’s Eclipse Award Champion Sprinter or Male Sprinter.
