Magic Stables’ Lirica surged to the lead in mid-stretch and drew off to a commanding four-length triumph in Thursday’s sixth race, a $55,000 maiden special weight even for 2-year-old fillies.
Trained by Antonio Sano, the daughter of Kantharos ran five furlongs in 58.92 seconds in her second career start.
Lirica, the 7-5 favorite ridden by Marcos Meneses, debuted at Gulfstream June 7, finishing second, beaten  two lengths by highly regarded David Fawkes-trained Perfect Kay.
Rainbow 6 Carryover Stands at $61,172 for Friday’s Card
The 20-cent Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot rose to $61,172.60 for Friday’s nine-race program at Gulfstream Park when the popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 10th consecutive racing day Thursday
Multiple tickets with all six winners for Races 4-9 Thursday were each worth $3,313.10.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Friday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 4-9.

In addition to the Rainbow 6 carryover, there will be a Super Hi-5 carryover of $3,572.93 for Friday’s first race.
