Turfway livestream has Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge runner-up

Horse Racing Nation is live for the first night of racing in 2024 at Turfway Park as the winter-spring meeting begins with a nine-race card.

HRN went live Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.  with professional horseplayer and Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge runner-up Kevan Strom joining Mark Midland to discuss the first half of the card.

Strom had his biggest score when he finished second in the BCBC in November at Santa Anita Park. Turfway is a big part of his focus December-March, and he and Midland will go through Wednesday’s races, including approaches to the early and late Pick 5s as well as value opportunities within each race.

They’re not the only ones focused on Turfway, though. Ray Cotolo is looking for his first winner of 2024 with a play in race 3. See the video here.
