Tuesday works: Ageless C Z Rocket leads 8 graded winners

C Z Rocket, who has twice finished second in the Breeders' Cup Sprint, worked Tuesday morning at Santa Anita. The 9-year-old gelding worked five furlongs at trainer Peter Miller's base of San Luis Rey, covering the distance in 1:00.2. It was his second work back since he finished third behind Anarchist in the Pat O'Brien (G2) on Aug. 26.

Two graded-stakes winners worked Tuesday for the first time since their most recent races. Turf sprinter Big Invasion, who most recently missed by a neck in the Harvey Pack at Saratoga, drilled four furlongs at the Spa this morning. Safeen, who won the Pucker Up (G3) earlier in the summer, drilled at Churchill for the first time since an eighth-place try in the Dueling Grounds Oaks at Kentucky Downs.

Endorsed (Medaglia d'Oro), a Grade 2 winner (2023 Gulfstream Park Mile), worked four furlongs in 49.6 seconds at Churchill Training on Tuesday morning. It was the third fastest of six works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race.
