Tuesday tab: Fun to Dream leads graded-stakes winners

Fun to Dream, who broke a four-race winning streak with a close second in the Grade 1 Beholder Mile and then was fifth in the Clement L. Hirsch (G1), worked Tuesday for trainer Bob Baffert.

The 4-year-old Arrogate filly drilled three furlongs in 38.0 seconds at Del Mar, third fastest of three at the distance.

Fun to Dream was one of six graded-stakes winners with published works Tuesday.

Fun to Dream (Arrogate), a Grade 1 winner (2022 La Brea), worked three furlongs in 38.0 at Del Mar on Tuesday morning. It was the third fastest of three works at the distance. This is her first work since her last race. In her last start she placed fifth in the Clement L. Hirsch (G1) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Del Mar on Aug. 5 for trainer Bob Baffert.

Wicked Halo (Gun Runner), a three-time Grade 2 winner (2022 Raven Run, 2022 Prioress, 2021 Adirondack), worked four furlongs in 48.8 at Saratoga on Tuesday morning. It was the fastest of four works at the distance. Her previous work was eight days ago going four furlongs at Saratoga. In her last start she won the Twin Bridges going six furlongs on the main track at Ellis Park on July 23 for trainer Steve Asmussen.

Next (Not This Time), a two-time Grade 2 winner (2023 Brooklyn, 2022 Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance), worked four furlongs in 49.8 at Turfway Park on Tuesday morning. It was the fastest of four works at the distance. This is his first work since his last race. In his last start he won the Birdstone going 1 3/4 miles on the main track at Saratoga on July 27 for trainer William D. Cowans.

Frosted Grace (Mark Valeski), a Grade 3 winner (2023 Steve Sexton Mile), worked four furlongs in 49.6 at Churchill Downs on Tuesday morning. It was the 17th fastest of 45 works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Churchill Downs. In his last start he placed sixth in the Prairie Meadows Cornhusker Handicap (G3) going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Prairie Meadows on July 8 for trainer Robertino Diodoro.

Magic Michael (Dramedy), a Grade 3 winner (2021 Greenwood Cup), worked four furlongs in 48.0 at Delaware Park on Tuesday morning. It was the fastest of nine works at the distance. His previous work was eight days ago going three furlongs at Fair Hill. In his last start he placed second in the Greenwood Cup (G3) going 1 1/2 miles on the main track at Parx Racing on Sept. 24 for trainer Jamie Ness.

Jaxon Traveler (Munnings), a Grade 3 winner (2022 Maryland Sprint), worked four furlongs in 48.8 at Saratoga on Tuesday morning. It was the fastest of four works at the distance. His previous work was 11 days ago going five furlongs at Belmont Park. In his last start he placed seventh in the Dave's Friend going six furlongs on the main track at Laurel Park on Dec. 30 for trainer Steve Asmussen.
