The first reported foal sired by 2015 Triple Crown winner American Pharoah was born at 12:30 am ET on January 3, 2017. The news was posted to the Brookdale Farm Facebook Page at 4:02 pm ET.
The foal is a bay colt out of the first-time mother, Kakadu, who is a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner, Protonico.
American Pharoah bred 208 mares in his first year at stud, and we look forward to the foals to come this year!
