Preakness winner Rombauer returned to work Thursday at Santa Anita, going three furlongs for trainer Michael McCarthy. Ram raced on Sunday, finishing third in a Churchill Downs allowance race, while Midnight Bourbon ran third in the Clark (G1) on Friday.
