Of the 19 horses in the 2021 Kentucky Derby, 17 have raced again since the Run for the Roses. Of those, two horses (Essential Quality and Mandaloun) have earned a graded-stakes win.

Also noteworthy among 2021 Derby horses is Super Stock, who won the Ellis Park Derby on Sunday, as well as Soup and Sandwich, who has returned to work. The colt had suffered from a displaced soft palate in the Run for the Roses.
