Go big in DerbyWars' $25,000 Travers Stakes day contest!

Travers Stakes day is nearly upon us, and with loaded stakes and huge undercard fields, it figures to be the best betting day of the summer.
Get a piece of the action in the $25,000 Travers Day contest at DerbyWars.com featuring 13 races at Saratoga and Monmouth Park.

To play, all you have to do is pick one horse in each race. Selections can be changed up until one minute to post, but at that point, the race closes and your picks are set. This contest uses Win-Place-Show scoring -- so if the horse you pick finishes in the money, that adds to your tally. The $2 payoffs are accumulated, and at the end of all 13 races, the player with the highest total wins.

The races included in this weekend's $25,000 contest are loaded with stars and huge fields! The Travers is wide open with 12 3-year-olds who could step up to be the next star. The Sword Dancer (G1), meanwhile, has nine veteran turf horses who are evenly matched. In the Personal Ensign (G1), the field may be short, but it's long on talent.
Post time is 3:33 p.m. ET. The 13 races in the contest are Saratoga 8-13 Monmouth 7-12.
You can qualify in a feeder contest for as low as $32, turning a little into a lot and have fun in a contest setting. When you play at Derby Wars, you can 'trash talk" the competition in the game live chat, view each player's picks after the races close, and also see just how you need to score to move up the leaderboard with the average payoffs chart.
