Kentucky stewards have suspended trainer David Pate for 180 days because one of his horses, Point Destin, tested positive for the prohibited substance o-desmethyltramadol after a third-place finish on September 9 at Turfway Park.
The three-year-old colt was disqualified and placed last in the $7,000 maiden claiming race.
